I have been in the field of Education for 22 years. Currently I am a Stenographer for the Uniondale UFSD in New York. I went into education because I was a Mary Kay Director and I wanted to concentrate more on my children and being in this field allowed me more time to be with them.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Five Towns College and a New York State License to teach early childhood education, grades 0-6.

The biggest challenge I faced was when my Mother passed away. Losing your mother is always a void that cannot be filled, and she was survived by 10 children. I had to fight my battle with Lymphoma without her by my side and that was very difficult.

I am a team player and love solving problems. I also have great self-esteem and am very confident - I am not intimidated by status or titles.

My greatest accomplishment was getting my teaching degree after the 1st rise of cancer and becoming an author. I am writing a book about the tragic experience of the loss of my daughter, who was murdered in 2017.

I want to be a motivational speaker, an evangelist. I plan on becoming a literacy coach and I want to be part of Toastmasters.

I am putting one foot in front of the other, started my book and I will just keep moving forward

I have always been an inspired person, but after the loss of my loved one, my only daughter, I am even more inspired to help others through motivational speaking and get my book out.

I want to be remembered as a giver and not in a mediocre way but in the best way possible.
