I started in technology as a programmer and moved into security. I am responsible for managing projects and the project resources needed to successfully execute the projects. I also manage and support the relationships and communications between the program managers, GSO Executive team and business units globally.

I received a Masters in Computer and Information Systems with a concentration in Security from Kaplan University and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DeVry University.

My biggest challenge is being a woman in a male dominated industry. It can be a challenge to showcase my abilities and move up in the organization because of the glass ceiling.

Among my greatest strengths is my ability to get things done and to work with and manage diverse groups of people.

My greatest accomplishment has been my ability to balance my family life and my professional career. I have been married for 26 years and I have 2 amazing children, a son age 17 and a daughter age 12, and thankfully it has been a happy balance.

My professional goal is to continue in security but focus on vendors, risk management and fraud.

I am inspired by the security industry and continued learning - knowledge is power.

I want to be remembered for my integrity and my values. I want to be thought of as a teacher and a partner.

I am a member of the Latin Women Association, Women in Technology, IWIN and Women and Security Leadership in AZ.

I  volunteer with ADP for Habitat for Humanity and have taught security in middle school for the last 3 years.

I enjoy spending time with family, reading and crocheting.
