After retiring from Assurant in January of 2017, where I was the Vice President of Quality and Operational Excellence I knew that it was time for me to fulfill my true purpose and passion to work with people and help them succeed in that space where I worked for so many years. It became time for me to reach back by teaching what I have learned through my career. and the importance of bolstering the Emotional Intelligence of to today's business leaders. The time came when my professional goals of training and consulting and spiritual goals aligned. 

I received my MBA degree form the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. I am a Six Sigma Master Black Built and a L.E.A.N. Trainer.  I am currently enrolled in I.P.E.C. where I am pursuing my certification. Additionally, I have had Executive experience in the best companies to work for, including Assurant, where I recently retired my role as a Vice President.

It is interesting to note that there is still a glass ceiling that exists, but that as women at at his point we need to say, "So what if we have to work a little harder, we will and we will get there!"

I am an achiever, I like to get results and I am a life long learner. I am a strategic thinker who is intuitive and I absolutely love to help others achieve their own successes. 

On a personal level I am humbled to be a Breast Cancer survivor, who was able to tap into my inner strength not only to fight my own battle, but bolster my own strength by helping others persevere during our journey. 

Professionally, I take great pride in my hand of growing talent for the next generation by investing time in coaching and guiding them to leadership - this was my pleasure and it has been an amazing path to travel. 

I am looking forward to investing back into young and emerging leaders by coaching them to be their best in all arenas and lead them by example. I am looking forward to giving back and having the time in my schedule to both be a Business Empowerment Coach and a volunteer to give time and finding time in my schedule to be in God's word and be present on this journey.

I am inspired by my internal drive which points me in the direction to help people and my sincere desire to have people understand the power of their emotional intelligence. I am inspired to help people be better and do better. 

I want be remembered as someone who helped people along the way and enriched the lives of those I touched. 

I enjoy reading and spending time hiking with my husband of 40 years, Eric and spending time withmy daughter Erica and  our large extended family! I love water sports and boating and I love design.
