I chose this career because I believe in and am passionate about education. I have the skills and tools needed to help the students and staff.  I have 34 years of experience in education and been in my current position for 10 years. I have focused in developing and implementing community based literacy programs for children, adolescents and adults.

I received my M.S. in Communication Disorders, Intervention and Treatment Professions from Southern Connecticut State University, Six Year Diploma in Special Education Consultation from Fairfield University and Six Year Diploma in Education Leadership and Administration from Southern Connecticut University.

One of the biggest challenges as a Speech Pathologist has been finding opportunities for growth. Additionally, working with a staff of 45 has made being an agent of change difficult.

My greatest strength is my ability to connect and influence people.

My greatest accomplishment is building a team of Speech Language and Hearing Professionals to do the work they are doing.

My personal goal after retirement is to be a consultant for education and work in different school districts and to share my vision.

I am inspired by my faith and the children around me. I am a passionate Christian.

I want to be remembered for the contribution I made to education and for being a trail blazer.

I volunteer with my church the Cornerstone Christian Center and I am the CEO of the Total Program.

I enjoy going to spas, reading and traveling.
