About me

I am originally from France and I have played on the Women's Tennis Professional Tour for 15 years. I started my company 40-LOVE Inc. in 1992 that became French Travel Specialists as a hobby to bring avid travelers to France, my native country. Besides organizing vacations in France I also commentate tennis worldwide for different TV networks. My goal through French Travel Specialists is to give lifetime memories to travelers that enjoy France and it's culture, Food, Wine and Tennis.

Vacations to Paris with access to French Open tickets as well as Provence vacations are available but I also pride myself in customizing the best trips for travelers in any regions of France no matter what their personal interests might be.

About my company

It's all about France, Food, Wine and Tennis!

I chose this career path because

My passion for Tennis, Travel, Food and Wine are the reasons for choosing this career path. I love to share the beauty of my native country and talk about my first Love: Tennis

I prepared for this career by

My extensive travel and French background are the back bone of the travel experience that I bring to each traveler. France, food, wine and tennis expertise are shared throughout the different trips offered by my company to bring lifetime memories to each traveler.  To add a new and exciting dimension to my business, I attended the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust Diploma Program (WSET) at the International Wine Center in New York City. My wine education has enabled me to provide travelers another dimension in their travel adventures.

The biggest challenge I've overcome

There have been many challenges that I have overcome, from a foot injury that saw my world tennis ranking dropped so low that I had to start my tennis career from scratch to my back injury that stopped me from working since 2008 as a full time tennis professional to becoming a Tennis broadcaster/commentator/analyst without schooling experience. Always staying positive and going forward!

My greatest strength(s)

My greatest strength is relating to people and adapting to situations. I can feel and sense people very well. I also have the ability to reinvent myself.

My greatest accomplishment to date

My greatest accomplishment is not giving up no matter what obstacles I faced or what was thrown my way.

My personal/professional goals

Personally, I am happy to wake up every day and breath. I feel like I've already won. Professionally, my goal is to continue to be able to give people the pleasure of seeing France through my eyes and create wonderful lasting memories.

What/Who has inspired me the most

People are very inspiring, I love to share and learn from others. I was lucky to have amazing mentors in my life from my mother and my first tennis coach Nicole Filippone to Billie Jean King who coached me for two years at a low point of my tennis career due to my injury.
