I’m a photographer/videographer who enjoys shooting artists – performing and capturing them in the heat of the moment, doing their art, their craft and their passion. A photo or filming can capture the essence of a person, sometimes in just one frame – capturing a feeling, not just an appearance. From my perspective, photographs can show more than just how something looked - they can capture how something felt; especially, if the photographer felt it themselves! Selected as artist-in-residence for Global Arts and Education, a nonprofit youth leadership organization, I document the global travels and mentor participants in digital art and design. I volunteer as a Big Sister with Big Brother and Sister program in Clearwater, Florida and volunteers for the Susan G. Komen Florida Sun Coast events and races as the media/photographer.  She shoots for the magazine “Destination Publication” using a variety of pictures taken of various events throughout the Tampa Bay area. I also love working with the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Festival’s on the Media Team, as one of the professional photographers and lead videographer. I’m a native of Chicago and attended The International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago where I received a degree in Merchandising Management with a concentration in marketing. I relocated to Florida and received my BA in Digital Art and Technology and Interactive Media from The International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa. I’m a professional and good at what I do. I’m prompt, experienced, world traveler and captures the essence of my trips to allow people to experience the location because photographs and/or videos are the best souvenirs from your travels. They are personal, beautiful, and have a story behind them. A stunning photo on the wall and reliving your travels is personal art that puts a smile on your face as it reminds you of that exciting adventure! Image Masters International Inc. specializes in film/video and photography with supporting production crew working corporate, commercial and special events.  The studio is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (i.e. GoPro’s, Canon DSLR's (70D, 7D Mark I, II as well as Canon professional cinema and camcorders (C100 Mark II, XF205, XF405, 4K, HD & SD). A team and crew that have extensive experience which has us operating a lean, mean, production machine. We also perform photo, video and film editing and graphic design. 

I was a little insecure about my own talent when I started my profession as a representative for other photographers about 30 years ago. I then became an Assistant and loved it. I started the company as an Agency and had others doing the various aspects of production. As my confidence grew, and because of my passion for video and photography, I took over most aspects of production and creative input. As an artist I love managing the content and capturing whatever it is in the subjects essence whether it be a scene or portrait.

I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the International Academy of Design and Technology (Chicago Ill.and Tampa, FLA.) in Digital Arts, Photography, Interactive Media, and Video Production. 

My biggest challenge has been being paid fairly and equally. Women in this industry have to work twice as hard, often to be paid less then our male counterparts. I feel that women are underrepresented and often go unrecognized, especially in this industry.

My people skills are my greatest strength - I love people and life! People are drawn to me. I also have wonderful creative skills and an ability to see the "big picture" and how editing, directing, and production all fits into the final product.

Professionally, my goal is continue to follow my dream and see it through to fruition. 

My goal is earn more recognition for myself and for my work. Toward that end, I am thinking of producing 2 short films and submitting them to multiple film festivals and working to get more corporate work. I am also currently working on a documentary. What I need most now, is funding to achieve my goals.

What inspires me most is life and the potential we all have during our time here. So many things are happening so fast and I do not want to be merely an observer, I want to be a participant!

I want to be remembered as a woman of integrity who always went the extra mile to ensure that everything I did, was done well.
