I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, not afraid of risk, and found challenge is what makes things interesting. My first business was running an art gallery and studio open to the public on Cape Cod featuring art glass etching and engraving. After over a decade working with my partner in Fine Art, we had an opportunity in Japan to branch out into cross cultural/business communication. At the same time, I started an International Cooking School which attracted a diverse, enthusiastic group of students interested in learning about various cultures via gourmet food. It was wonderful to meet people from around the world to share customs while expanding my culinary knowledge. 

I started CyBOOK, inc., in 1997, providing IT consulting/design/web development services to small and medium sized businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies to deliver Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and other marketing development /support services. Specializing in Microsoft SharePoint technologies, Interaction Design and UX Design, I helped teams, groups, companies and customers to collaborate successfully for over 20 years.

Recently, I have started a new business venture called Pelta Games specializing in analogue games. At Pelta Games - Play is Art and Art is Play- and that means create games that are tactile, artful, and just plain fun. Our first game, PeltaPeeps is being released in the next few weeks.

Over the years, my creative abilities and insight have pushed me to explore new opportunities and challenges in many different fields including Fine Art, Culinary Arts, Human Services, IT ( User Interface Design/User Experience), and Games. It's never been boring!

I studied  Art, Design and Sociology at SUNY Binghamton and later received a BA in Design from the University of Albany. Then I continued to grow and took a "learn as you go" approach always looking for new skills to pick up.

I knew the IT field was male dominated and there would be challenges. But I learned to switch from a design perspective to a more technical one and it worked!

Now, I am in another field that has a shortage of women - game designers/publishers. I'm still finding the right tools, but my persistence and ability to connect continues to help me on the road to success.

I always think out of the box and am a risk taker. I thrive on challenges and new ideas.

Founding and running a very successful IT business for 20 years as a Preferred Vendor to Microsoft corp. as well as being a GSA contract Holder is my most recent accomplishment. My greatest accomplishment is yet to come.

Now, I strive to build a successful new business and help the gaming community thrive.

I have been inspired by the many people who have supported me and allowed me to thrive professionally and personally.

I want to be remembered as a caring person that inspired other people to pursue their dreams.

I am a member of the Gulf Coast Women's Club doing charitable work for community through Art and Theater.

I support Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, Food Banks among others. 

I belong to NAFE & NAWBO- professional women's organizations.

I was awarded GSA (General Services Administrations) Contract for Schedule 70 (It Programming Services) in order to do contract work for the Federal Government.

I support the food banks, various charities, and local community events.

I enjoy art, photography, cooking, deep sea fishing, sailing and waking up to a beautiful view of the Gulf every day.
