I am a minister and pastor of the Universal Temple of Christ and Training School.

I chose this career path because I love children, I love God and I love older people.

I prepared for this career in high school.

The biggest challenges I have overcome are raising money, talking to young women and dealing with domestic violence. Women really are the biggest challenge.

My greatest strength is God.

My greatest accomplishment is when the women who have been in my shelter come back to tell me how successful they have become through new jobs or new homes.

My goals are to open another shelter for families and men with children shelters.

My inspiration comes from the love of my God.

When I am remembered, I want it to be for being a good mother, grandmother, friend, sister, and great server of God.

I am a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Remington Register of Outstanding Professionals, Who's Who in Black Chicago and the Chicago Chamber of Commerce.

I have received the President's Award given by President Bill Clinton, the Jefferson Award, the Unsung Hero Award, and the 2009-2010 NAPW Recognition Award, as well as Phenomenal Woman Award.

The charities I support are various churches, Team Work Engelwood, Dream for Kids and also the Domestic Violence of the 7th Precinct.

When I have spare time, I spend it raising money for my shelter.
