I chose this career path because
My career began in accounting, but life changed! My husband held several positions and had been transferred many times throughout his career, and we started building our family, so I needed a job that would allow me a great deal of flexibility, thus my career in Real Estate. I became a licensed Realtor in 1994 and for the next 12 years I worked with a local area builder in Georgia. During that time it became apparent that credit issues could make or break a deal, and so I began meeting with area lenders and underwriters to see what they were looking for in loans. Through that experience, it became very apparent to me that education and assistance was missing from the purchase process, and I became interested in helping to educate future home owners, and so I started started The Credit Lady, aimed at providing education, credit analysis, and action plans to future home owners. In 2013, I completed the broker requirements for the State of Georgia and became the managing broker of Lighthouse Point Realty.

I received my formal education from Florida Atlantic University and obtained my B.S. in Accounting. As far as my Real Estate Career, I received my for Real Estate license for the state of Georgia in 1994. I went on to become a certified New Homes Sales Specialist through the National Association of Realtors and in 2013, I completed the broker requirements for the State of Georgia.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
We specialize in representing builders, which is certainly a male dominated field, and at times it means getting over a hurdle when presenting. Fortunately, I persist in getting over that hurdle with my knowledge.
My greatest strength(s)
I have worked very hard to understand the market and become an expert at what I do. My strengths are working numbers and building lasting, meaningful relationships.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishments, without a shadow of a doubt, are my three children, who are all grown now! I am so proud of the adults they have grown to be.
My personal/professional goals
This year I have added additional agents and builders to my business. I developed Lighthouse Realty Professionals to deal with resales from people we have worked with in New Home Purchase sales. My goal is to make sure buyers and sellers are more informed and work towards retirement for myself. My new company will have agents who have pride in their craftsmanship and realize that what they do represents more than a paycheck- it represents a client's dream.

I am inspired by my ability to make additional income and help buyers and sellers.
