I chose this career path because
I always knew I wanted to teach. I am a disable veteran and I went back to college to pursue my Ph.D. A teacher approached me to be a teacher assistant and I feel in love with teaching. I also own a business, Education Wellness where I teach seminars on Work Place Violence and Safety, Mental Health and a 16 hr. course on Traumatic Brain Injury for veterans and families. My passion is teaching and making everyone successful along the way.
I prepared for this career by
I am a Ph.D. student in Organizational Leadership at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
My biggest challenge is my medical condition.
My greatest strength(s)
My greatest strengths is my ability to work with people, seeing beyond their own bias and helping people see more than one perspective.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is being a single parent of three children who graduated high school and are all college professionals.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to be a tenor teaching professional at the university, making a difference in peoples lives and seeing that moment the light bulb goes off on students.

I am inspired by learning. I am a information sponge and I want to learn everything I can.

I want to be remembered as the person who inspired others to have a better life for themselves.
