I chose this career path because
I chose this career path when I studied chemistry because I wanted to be a doctor like my father. I changed my mind and went into science and changed my degree. I went into graduate school and I wanted to have an impact on society. I got involved with the environment and clean energy.
I prepared for this career by
I received a BS from Iran and MS from the University of Calgary.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
My biggest challenge is the technology field. The company spends a lot of money in technology and it affects the employees.
My greatest strength(s)
My greatest strengths is in learning, multi tasking, internal auditing, communication skills and team work.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is moving from Iran to Canada.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to move up in what I do and to be on the Board of Director of a company in my field.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I am inspired by my parents. My parents inspired me to do a lot of things and that I can do anything.
I participate in the following organizations/memberships
I am a member of the Chemical Society of Canada and The Electrochemical Society.
I support the missions of these charities/volunteer my time
I volunteer at the Princess Margaret Hospital and I am a foster parent.
I enjoy the following hobbies/interests
I enjoy photography, yoga and swimming.
