For the first 33 years of my career, I was an an RN working with new mothers and infant children. I decided that it would be a wonderful, beautiful, and different experience to serve as an End-of-Life Duige and Life Cycle Celebrant. My career has truly come "full circle".

I had worked in hospice in the past so I did not need training. There are certificate programs in place for this type of work and I communicate with some of the women in these programs to ensure that I am keeping up with the times.

Externally, my greatest challenge is explaining to other people what it is that I actually do. Internally, my greatest challenge is having the confidence within myself to actually do what I do.

I am a wonderful listener and I have the ability to cope with hard work.

Raising my two sons, as a single mother, has been my greatest accomplishment. Second to that, I am very proud of having served as the President of the board for co-housing where I have lived for 18 years.

I want to live my life to the fullest and fully embrace the journey of life and it's unpredictability. 

I want to be remembered for being a good mother my two son's, Jesse and Sol, and for being someone who pushed the envelope.
