Nancy Kohl
About me
Ms. Kohl has over thirty years experience in pharmaceutical industry with specialization in Clinical Operations, Data Management and Reporting. She has been a presenter at DIA, ACRP and CDISC meetings and seminars on Quality Management, Contracting Services and Data Operations. She taught Data Management and Clinical Monitoring courses at the post-graduate level at Villanova University.
Ms. Kohl is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School Of Allied Medical Professions and also attended the Wharton School of Business. She launched her career in the Department of Orthopedics at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1985 as a manager of worldwide data management and application programming at SmithKline Beecham, overseeing a significant number of projects and personnel, as well as corporate standards. In 1990 she accepted a clinical position in Sterling Drug’s Diagnostic Imaging division, contributing to several successful regulatory submissions. Her last corporate position was as Director at Centocor (division of J&J) where she was closely involved in a successful corporate FDA audit and three successful regulatory submissions.
Since launching QDS in 1995, she continues with the oversight of corporate growth and the business management of the company.

Quality Data Services, Inc. (QDS) was incorporated in 1995 as a contract research organization offering clinical management and monitoring, data management, safety management, biostatistical analysis, and medical writing services to the biopharmaceutical industry. Our headquarters are located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania with secondary offices in Maryland, North Carolina and Florida.
Since inception, QDS has successfully completed over 525 clinical trials, this includes providing clinical services to 60 commercially available products and conducting pivotal trials for over 100 compounds/devices. QDS is most proud of our quality record as our company has not failed a quality control audit, by either our sponsors or FDA, during our 19 year history.
Our clients include large international pharmaceutical companies down to small virtual biotechnology companies. Our minimum standard of service is unparalleled quality, consistently delivered on time and within budget. Our focus on quality and value combined with our commitment to customer satisfaction has led to approximately 85% of our business attributed to repeat customers.
I chose this career path because
I went into the pharmaceutical industry in the 1970's and worked my way up to President/CEO.

The biggest challenge I've overcome
The biggest challenge I've overcome is balancing science with the regulatory aspects of the industry. I also follow this motto "never forget the patient is waiting".

My greatest strength is attention to detail and organizational skills.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment thus far is being involved with 7 drugs that were published in a national publication.
