The biggest challenge I've overcome
Opening up my own small business in this economy which is financially not optimum has been my greatest challenge.
My greatest strength(s)
My strengths are in the great deal of passion I have for my specialized field of grief and trauma. I am a solid therapist who provides good services, I continue to keep developing my skills and constantly evolve. I provide excellent customer service.
My greatest accomplishment to date
Personally, I have been blessed with a successful marriage and a beautiful daughter. My greatest accomplishment is that I have a family that I am so proud of. Professionally, I am so proud that I have worked with graduate level students in University and it was so rewarding watching them grow, motivating them and seeing the excitement for their own future that I had inspired within them.
My personal/professional goals
I look forward to continuing my practice and helping as many people as possible in my area of expertise with grief and trauma. I also have thought about expanding and bringing in other qualified associates specialized in family therapy.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I have been very personally driven because I was an only child and lost both parents at a young age and had my maternal grandparents raise me. They too, encouraged me to be very independent, and enstilled good work ethic in me. My husband has always been another great inspiration. He is successful, self made and a wonderful man. He has encouraged me to start my own business and helped give me ambition to achieve all my goals. Leading by example for my daughter and showing her that there are no limitations and she can succeed in all her missions is another place where the inspiration comes from.
