I worked with the homeless for 6 years. In those years I saw that there was a gap between women and children in shelters. My desire is to help women with issues including addictions, being homeless, being a victim of domestic violence, and more.

I received my B.S. in Child Development and I am currently taking course for counseling.

I struggled myself over the course of my life with different issues and at times was unable to receive the support I needed. I know first hand the importance of support, treatment, and healing.

I have the ability to talk to the lowest of the low and the highest of the high. My faith in god has given me tremendous strength over the years.

I was a teacher for 20 years. I started out as a high school teach and went on to teach pre-school children. I have a board in my home with pictures of my students in both grades and I pray for them to succeed.

I want to be able to buy some land and build a big, beautiful Victorian style home to house homeless women and children and provide them with a comfortable lifestyle. I also want to grow my own food on this land.

I want to be remembered as someone who helped women in similar circumstances that I have overcome in my life. I want to be known for truly making a difference.
