I was passionate about selling and about meeting people.

I discovered my love for outside, business-to-business sales while completing an internship at a local magazine during graduate school. The experiences I had working in the hospitality industry in college, coupled with my sales internships and coursework collectively prepared me for the success I have had in my career. Surrounding myself with highly skilled managers, mentors, and other people who are knowledgeable and well-versed in outside sales has been a critical step in the process as well.

Personally, my most important job in life is to raise a happy, healthy, and successful child and to be happy myself. Professionally, I hope to continue to expand my knowledge in different subject matters including publishing and writing, politics, and various aspects of selling, management, and public speaking.

I am fortunate to have educated and hard-working parents.  Since I was a young child my Father encouraged me to keep working hard, to keep focused on the goal, and to set high expectations for myself regardless of the circumstance. My mentor at Fremont Investment and Loan, Christine Lauria, is my inspiration.

Recently, I wrote a children’s book. I love the idea of giving a little boy or girl a happy moment.  The Amazing Adventures of Ava Appleby is a mystery book written at a 1st-3rd grade reading level depending upon the child's development. The book is available at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble for $6.99. I have also published 50 Jokes by Ava and Goodnight, Little Star.

I am a licensed medical aesthetician and published book author in addition to my degrees. I have received various awards for product knowledge and sales achievements over the years.

I love spending as much time with my daughter as possible. I enjoy being around my friends and family, cooking, theater, politics, and reading and writing. I love English Bulldogs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York City, and the color blue!
