About me
Marie is a Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley with over 25 years experience. Prior to joining the firm she was manager of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures with Texas Instruments where she bought and sold corporations, divisions, and product lines to round out the company's strategic plans.
She has a family focused practice. Working with her son, Shawn D. Moore, CFP®, they focus on the planning and investment needs of families from grandparents to grandchildren. They practice family wealth management where they help families to preserve their traditions, histories and values and communicate them to future generations.
Marie holds the following degrees and certifications: Columbia University, Certified Portfolio Manager; Northwestern University-Kellogg GSM, Mergers and Acquisitions certification; University of Dallas, MBA; University of Texas at Arlington, BBA.

I chose this career path because
I chose this career path because I needed to do something flexible and this was a natural progression for me. I was previously with Texas Instruments, the Manager of Mergers Acquisitions & Divestitures.

I received a BBA from the University of Texas, Arlington an MBA from the University of Dallas. I am certified in Portfolio Management from Columbia University, a Managing Director, Wealth Management Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Management Director and Family Wealth Director.

My greatest strength is Portfolio Management and my interpersonal skills.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is surviving as a woman in a male industry in Texas Instrument and this company. My personal accomplishment is my successful marriage and my son who is my partner.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to continue to mentor people, our team members, young MBA and other ladies. I want to hold monthly meetings and share my knowledge with others.

I am inspired by the love of people and by what I do because I do it well.
