I chose this career path because communication is the most important part of any business.

I came to the U.S. as a young diplomate for the United Nations. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from Columbia University, as well as a master's degree in public administration from the Maxwell School in Syracuse, NY.  Also, I have additional certifications in leadership. I am a graduate of the Citizens Academy in Syracuse, NY.

The biggest challenge I have overcome has been assisting others in believing they are capable. I continue to break down barriers in spite of obstacles.

My greatest strengths include determination, persistance and leadership.

My greatest accomplishment to date has been starting a program at SUNY Upstate University in 1996. The program entailed teaching medical students medical terminology in Spanish. 

My personal/professional goals include helping as many students as possible. Also, I want to encourage students to become involved in overseas care.

Motivating students to travel and volunteer in clinics and hospitals overseas has inspired her.

I most want to be known/remembered for opening doors for people and providing the oportunity for them to prove themselves.

I am a member of The Womens' Business Owner Connection and the International Medical Interpreters Association.

I have received many plaques for my contributions to the American Red Cross and from the City and County.

I am a former member of the board of directors for the American Red Cross.

I love spending time with my grandchildren.
