I have been in private practice for 21 years.

What was a humble beginning during infancy, one doctor and a single exam room has evolved into a practice consisting of 4 state-of-the-art facilities and 23 doctors.

I love taking care of people and always wanted to go into medicine. I chose to become a pediatric ophthalmologist because I am fascinated by how the eyes and the brain work.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Harvard University and continued my studies at John Hopkins University School of Medicine.

I would say that my greatest challenge has been balancing my life and work. Thankfully, my husband does have a job that allows for flexibility which helps alleviate the pressure on me, but it is still something I struggle with.

I am very easy going and patient. I have a good heart.

My three children are my greatest accomplishment. Second to that, I am most proud of building my practice and serving so many patients.

This summer I will be taking some time off to spend with my family. In the future I see myself doing some consulting work and perhaps teaching!

I personally can not sit still for too long and I love to be busy, which has always been a driving force for me.

I want to be remembered for being a compassionate person.
