I have been interested in the science of the Earth since I was a little girl.

I took a long road, with many detours, to get back to my first love of geology and earth science.

Going back to college in my 50's certainly wasn't easy but I hope I can be an inspiration to others.

I consider my perseverance and adaptability to be two of my greatest strengths.

Going back to school and graduating has been a huge accomplishment for me.

I would like to be closer to my soon to arrive grand child and continue my studies by going back to graduate school.

I'd like to be remembered not only as a good and compassionate person, but as a great scientist and an inspiration.
