I have been with Ford Motor Company for 33 years.

I think this career chose me! After graduating with my Industrial Engineering Degree, Ford offered me a position as as an Industrial Engineer and I have been with them ever since. Throughout the course of my career I have climbed the ladder and today I am the V.P. of Manufacturing.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and went on to obtain my MBA from the University of Phoenix. Throughout the course of my career I have also participated in many in-house Ford workshops and training programs in an effort to continue my education.

Professionally, my greatest challenge was establishing myself as a leader in male dominated industry. I gender-integrated almost every position I have held throughout my career. On a personal level, my greatest challenge was balancing my values, family, and deeply rooted faith with my professional career.

Among my greatest strengths are my abilities to create and build great teams and my extensive knowledge of manufacturing and the industry.

My greatest accomplishment is my family. I am so proud of the life I have created with my husband, who also happens to be my High School sweetheart! I have a 29 year old daughter and a 25 year old son who both have grown into wonderful adults.

I am approaching the end of my career, as I have been with Ford for 33 years. Upon retirement, it is my goal to do something in the non-profit arena in an effort to help the world and give back.

I grew up in a single parent household with 7 siblings, where faith, ethics, and morals were deeply rooted. That has served as my inspiration throughout my life.

At Ford, people know that I am there to help anyone with anything in any capacity. I want to be remembered for the time I devoted  to mentoring, coaching and counseling others.
