I chose this career because I enjoy teaching. My interest is to get the word out to help women build their confidence. I have always been asked for my advice to help, encourage and to motivate people especially women. I always wanted to do public speaking and now I have the opportunity to help encourage women to live their dream. I have hosted the 2017 Speaker Events and will be doing a 2018 conference.

I prepared for my career through life experiences, reading what others have done in this area, attending workshops and being with people.

My biggest challenge is confidence - doing this has changed my mindset and I had to switch gears.

My greatest strength is my personality. I am easy going, motivating and positive - I don't dwell on the negative.

My greatest accomplishment is the gratification and personal satisfaction I receive in encouraging others and helping people to get their own businesses going and become a success.

My professional goal is to build a coaching business to help people one-on-one, and to go on more retreats and hold workshops.

I am inspired by recognizing that there are a lot of women out there like myself who feel that it is over for them and just being there for them. 

I want to be remembered as someone who was there for others, and for encouraging and motivating people to realize that there is something out there for all of us - that we all have a purpose and a calling.

I am a member of Toastmasters and the Order of the Eastern Star.

I received the Speaker Collaborative Award from The  Public Speaker Association, Toastmasters Best Speaker Awards, and is a International Award Winning Author for a writing contest I entered for my short story, which was published.

I conduct life skill workshops for the St. John's Women Shelter.

I enjoy reading romance novels, crocheting and I love to do public speaking.
