While living in North Dakota, Kathy worked  in the Bank of North Dakota in several different positions. She  was a collection specialist, executive office Administrator and Telecommunications Coordinator She was also an office manager in a real estate firm, She has a vast range of experiences in different industries.  In 2002 she decided  to open up her own business, McHenry, Inc..

She specializes in proposal writing, website development and creation, online business management and airport advertising.

Her greatest strengths are being a visionary  and being able to see the big picture. She is also very positive and sees the glass half full.

Her greatest accomplishment has been the ability to stay in business for as long as she has and she is very proud of her diversified clients.

In 2016, she will be restructuring her business with higher end clients. She would also like to expand the airport advertising aspect of her business.

She has a client of nine years that has been a mentor to her with support and encouragement.

She would like to be remembered as a person who always looked on the bright side of things. She would also like to be remembered as being successful in business and in life.

She enjoys the beach in NC, reading and travel.
