I always had a knack for doing taxes and like helping people! Doing taxes is a lot like doing a puzzle, and I enjoy putting it together. I have been in accounting for 27 years and started my own company less than 2 years ago. I mainly work with individuals and small businesses.

I received my BS in Accounting from Arizona State University and I became an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. I also became a I am a Master Tax Pro through H&R Block and I am continuing my education and increasing my knowledge by taking QuickBooks courses.

My biggest challenge was starting my own business and discovering innovative way to get new customers and new business.

My greatest strengths are my enjoyment and proficiency in Math, building lasting relationships with my clients, my desire to to continue my education and my expertise in personal and and small business taxes.

My children are my greatest accomplishment. Second to that, while my children were in high school I went back to school to get my diploma, and while it wasn't always, I accomplished what I set out to do and for that I am proud. 

This past year, I have to say, was a true enlightenment on how hard it is to get started in business. My goal is to open a storefront, as I currently operate my business from home. I want to expand and grow my client base and also the services I offer and increase my marketing efforts and my social media presence. 

It sounds funny, but what inspires me is winter time in Illinois. It is lonely and picking up and dropping off taxes for clients enables me to be more social all the while knowing what I am doing is helping people.

I want to be remembered for raising polite, hard-working children and giving them a good sense of direction.
