About my company
Her first book, "Hootch" is about a spotted hyena who wants to travel to new lands and explore far away continents, but his parents tell him it is too dangerous to travel alone to an unknown place. Hootch then gets angry and throws a fit as he howls and screams in his room. "It's not fair! Why can't I travel and see my cousins?" Hootch wonders. After sulking for a while, Hootch realizes he acted poorly to his parents, who love him and tried to protect him. It is then when Hootch must seek their forgiveness and apologize. A must for children to read!
Her second book, "Looking Forward to Christmas" is about looking back to the birth of Jesus, but how, for centuries, the people of God looked forward. This book helps parents and teachers review with children how it was for those who looked forward to Jesus, and it helps to show why the celebration of Christmas is so significant. It is written in poetic form, the short sections are titled to introduce the theme of each.
I chose this career path because
She chose this career path because she wrote in high school, and her English teacher always gave her an A. She always wanted to become an English teacher. She attended college for one year, and then she started her family. She has self-published two books, which both children and adults seem to like. She is now working on a third rhyming book for children. She is presently working on introducing her "Hootch" fantasy book to libraries as well.
I prepared for this career by
