I have always had a passion for fashion! I started in fashion merchandising as a window dresser 13 years ago. When I had my daughter, life went in another direction and I developed my own line of accessories for girls and women. I started my Rosie Couture Collection 5 years ago and I am now in several upscale boutiques in the Miami area and also do personal styling.

My other passion is volleyball. My dad was a coach for 37 years and I have played my whole life. I received an athletic scholarship and went on to play in college. My dad and I started the Miami Elite Volleyball Club. Today we have travel and non-travel teams made up of 200 members that range in age from 6 to 18 years old. Two of our teams qualified for the USA National Volleyball Championships and in 12 seasons we have helped 40 of our players achieve scholarships to play in college

Rosie Couture Collection is a Miami based boutique showcasing handmade, couture accessories and unique home decor.

The goal of Miami Elite Volleyball Club to provide a FUN, competitive atmosphere where a carefully selected group of Gold Medal Squared Certified coaching staff will emphasize fundamentals and advanced skills. We commit to helping our athletes build a strong work ethic, leadership skills and life lessons that will carry far beyond the volleyball court.

I started my Rosie Couture Collection because I was inspired to to create trendy accessories for girls and women that I could not find in stores.

As far as the Miami Elite Volleyball Club, I am a lifelong volleyball player, and I saw a great opportunity to impact the lives of youths while doing something I love.

My preparation has been a hybrid of formal education and experience. I attended Florida International University and received my B.A. in Marketing. Because of my extensive background in fashion merchandising and retail, I was trained by seasoned managers and stylists on how to arrange windows and leverage my own keen sense of color and design. I continue my education and keep myself up-to-date with current trends by reading fashion blogs and researching.

My biggest challenge is finding a balance between work and life. It requires a lot of juggling to be a good mother, a good wife, a successful business woman, and coach.

I am great at building relationships and I have a good eye for color and design.

My greatest accomplishment is marrying an amazing man and have two amazing kids. Second to that, getting my line multiple boutiques in such a competitive area is also a huge accomplishment for me.

Right now I am wearing so many hats and doing it all, so in the future I envision myself hiring a few people to help with errands and computer work in an effort to grow the Rosie Couture brand and expand into more boutiques. I also want to create more!

For Miami Elite, our primary focus remains to be on the quality of our members, not the quantity. I want to continue to educate our players and parents and make a positive, lasting impact on their lives. Of course we want to win, but we want to teach life skills while doing so. 

I find sports and coaching to be very inspirational and rewarding. I am inspired to continue to teach our players to always win with grace and lose with composure.

I want to be remembered for being a great mom.
