About my company
I have been in the Title Insurance industry for 12 years, insuring residential and commercial properties. I started with Vantage Point Title in 2009. At that time our office was made up of just 3 people. We have since grown to a staff of 160, operating in 12 different office locations!
I chose this career path because
I was in college and really unsure of what I wanted to do professionally. I had a strong interest in Real Estate and decided to go to Real Estate school and at 19 years old, I went to work for a Title Insurance Company in an entry level position and worked my way up. I have been doing Title Insurance ever since.
I prepared for this career by
I took several courses in Business Management at St. Petersburg College and then went to the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. I am licensed in 29 states for Title Insurance and a Notary Public. Additionally, I have taken several certification courses in Human Resources, such as Cobra and Compliance and Law.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
Every industry is driven by men and the Title Industry is no exception. I have to prove myself more regarding my knowledge and abilities because I am a woman.
My greatest strength(s)
My strengths are my leadership skills, people skills, putting out fires, handling issues, complex problem solving and building relationships.
My greatest accomplishment to date
To this point, my greatest accomplishment is working for this company and being a part of the original 3 person team, and helping it grow to where it is today.
My personal/professional goals
This year I developed a desire to spread my wings and start something on my own. My goal one day is to run my own successful Title Company and I have been working on a plan to do just that.
What/Who has inspired me the most
My parents definitely shaped who I am and taught me what a strong work-ethic is, I am grateful for the both of them. What inspires me most is my love of work, learning, building relationships and earning money. My desire to not be held back in my career and life keeps me going.

I want to be remembered as a strong-willed, determined person.

I love exercising, shopping, live music, reading, and gardening. I am also a foodie and I love wine!
