EEF is a  membership organisation, our services are driven by the needs of our manufacturing member businesses in areas which include HR & Legal advice, Health, Safety & Environment, Business Improvement and Training & Development.

I started in sales and business development and then got involved in Marketing and sales. Marketing simply became my preference so I decided to pursue that as a career.

I received my BA(with Honours) in Business and European Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from Humberside University. I went on to earn my MBA through the University of Salford. I am currently training as a Coach at the Coaching Academy.

The biggest challenge I have faced is obtaining a work-life balance. 

My greatest strength is seeing the big picture and my ability to translate that into practical action. I'm creative, intuitive and get along well with people

I feel that my greatest accomplishment, so far, is being one of the few female senior leaders in a male dominated field.

This year I have stepped up my pace in the profession. I am ensuring I am up-to-date and learning new skills and becoming more involved in the digital space. I want to be an excellent role model for women in both leadership and marketing roles and believe that supporting and encouraging women to be the best they can be is so important. With that in mind  I am presently qualifying as a coach and am planning to use these coaching skills in the workplace and the industry as a whole.

I am inspired by continuing my personal growth and development so as to make a difference to my organization and those around me.

I want to be remembered as someone that offered equal amounts of challenge and encouragement and who made a positive impact and difference in the workplace for women.

I love dining out and walking my dog
