I chose this career path because
After college I started out working in public relations, and when the career opportunity presented itself to switch to advertising research, I took it! The rest is history. I have been in the industry for 21 years, and with Kantar Media for 11 years. Three years ago I was promoted to Vice President.
I prepared for this career by
I received my MBA in Marketing and Management from Pace University and my B.A. from Lehigh University.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
This is male dominated industry, and so rising up the ranks and establishing myself as a leader along with finding female mentors have been my biggest challenges.
My greatest strength(s)
My greatest strength is building client relationships - I am a people person.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment was getting my MBA at night while working full-time.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to continue advancing in my career and taking on more responsibility. I also could envision myself possibly moving to a smaller company where I can help build that company from the ground up and build my own team.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I am inspired by my grandmother who graduated with a Master's, worked hard and lived to be 100 years old.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I want to be remembered as a person who was fair and showed kindness to everyone.
