I have three businesses, and although my ultimate goal has always been to help others, I have three different reasons for starting all of them. I have been an accountant for 30 years and chose that field because I enjoy problem solving. Numbers come easy to me, and I took that to the next level to help people grow through business planning . I help businesses with payroll, bookkeeping, tech services, taxes and often functions as an outsourced controller.

I chose to open a Notary because I am able to help people with Notary needs for home loans and general notary services. I am a Notary Signing Agent and an Electronic Notary.

It was when I was helping with the HR, on-boarding needs for a home healthcare company, that I was inspired to start Lifeline Training. This client of mine wanted her employees to be trained in CPR, so I became a certified CPR instructor to help her in that effort. I have always loved to help others, and I realized the importance of being CPR certified and just how many lives it could save, so I started Lifeline Training!

Much of my preparation I owe to my formal education. I received a B.S. in Accounting, a B.S. in Business Management from Wesleyan University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, I am both CPR certified and a certified CPR Instructor by the American Red Cross and I am currently pursuing my Basic Life Support certification and undergoing Bridge training. I am also a licensed Notary in the state of Virginia and have an additional certification as a Electronic Notary.

Before I started my own company I had no balance between work and life. Companies always want more from you, so being an owner allowed me the flexibility I longed for.

I am a problem solver: I can look at almost any issue or situation and identify what the resolution is. I am also great when it comes to details, yet I can still see the whole picture!

My greatest accomplishment is that I am truly happy and fully in control of my destiny.

I have a lot of goals, some short term and some long term! I am satisfied with my notary business and would like to focus my attention on growing Solution Solvers. I am currently mentoring two people to take over the notary business and I would like to sell my accounting business by the time I am 60. Another goal of mine to help those working from home to earn a decent living!

I have always been a driven person and inspired from within. I am a fighter.

I want to be remembered for my service to other, whether that be a client, mentees, employees, or students.
