I chose this career path because
I chose this career because I like to help people and the healthcare field interests me. I have over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field and have been a PA for 16 years. I am also a consultant and a professional speaker. I consult and teach people how to take care of themselves from the inside and outside by making healthy eating choices and taking care of their skin.
I prepared for this career by
Much of my preparation I owe to formal education and I am proud to say that I am the first college graduate in my family! I received my Physician Assistant degree from Florida International University and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. I have also learned a lot throughout my career through hands on experience.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
My biggest challenge is time management.

Among my greatest strengths are my abilities to motive and inspire others and my extensive knowledge in healthcare.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is being a mother to my 11 year old daughter.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to continue to inspire people to accomplish their goals and achieve their dreams. Personally, my goal is to set a good example for my daughter.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I am inspired by the appreciation I have for the opportunities I have been given, as my family comes from a poor background. I am inspired by being in America. I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to the American dream.

I want to be remembered for being someone who always helped and inspired others to do better and be better.
