I was born in Belgium,  the daughter of entrepreneurial parents who instilled a set of values that included integrity, hard work and honesty.  I love to travel and found my paradise in the Dominican Republic. I love my family, my home and the city where I live and do business.  Most of all, I love to bring people to my paradise for vacation or to live.  I love the lushness of the land and am committed to the environment, most especially the Ocean. 

ID Consulting is a management company specialized in real estate and commercial aircraft operations. The company was incorporated in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and has partners in Europe and the USA. Our staff is multinational and speaks five languages. We dedicate ourselves to the rental, sale, and administration of exclusive golf properties in the Dominican Republic, and to the organization of custom-made golf and private yacht charter packages for private or company events.

I moved down from Belgium to the Dominican Republic, 20 years ago, as a true emigrant.  I loved the Caribbean and I saw the challenges and the potential of the Dominican Republic.

I was quickly hired by a Dutch Airline because I speak 5 languages. I was offered a position in their sales and marketing department. A few years later my husband and I bought a beautiful house in Casa de Campo and since that time I have dedicated myself to real estate sales and property management. My business grew to what it is today, and I have truly found my passion in my paradise.

I have an Associates Degree in Business. The sales and marketing experience in the Airlines led me to pursue Real Estates Sales. Watching properties put me on the path to Property Management and my experience with the Island and Luxury properties lead to Golf Coast Villa rentals. 

My challenges are not gender related, they are more a result of working in an unregulated industry in the DR and the lack of ethics and integrity by the locals. 

Communication is one of my greatest strengths, I speak five languages. I am efficient, organized, and energetic. I am a good mentor and very ethical.

I would have to say building the home and business I have in a country that was so new to me.

Of course, I want to continue to grow my business and bring in some regulation and ethics into this industry on this beautiful Island. I am also a board member on Waste Free Oceans Org. and I a hoping to expand my role with the organization that is working to promote the marine life and keeping the ocean waste free. 

My parents were both entrepreneurs and I was born with that spirit and encouraged to chase my passion. They instilled a sense of confidence and adventure in me, as well as a strong work ethic. 

I want to be known as a person who loved her family and life and really made a difference in peoples' lives. I also want to be remembered as ethical, respectful and someone who had a great love for the environment.
