The Founders of our company wanted to achieve something different than what was offered out there in our industry. We desire to raise others up into leadership roles over their lives; to build a legacy that will thrive in the generations to come. 

Our company is built on our Core Values; Personal Growth and Freedom, Awesome Relationships, Impact the World. We align ourselves with these Core Values in everything we do. 

In 2015, Bellwether Real Estate was opened by a group of established real estate entrepreneurs who had a passion for coming together and bringing a fresh perspective to real estate in Whatcom County. We have grown from 12 individuals to 60 agents since April 2015, with opening our third location in new market territory outside of our home base. 

Initially, this was not my "chosen" career path. I was actually studying to become a Dental Hygienist and needed a part time job, thus my career in real estate! I developed a passion for real estate, and so I abandoned my dental hygiene career and pursued this full-time.

My real estate career began as an Office Administrator for Bellingham Real Estate. I developed a lot of insight and knowledge, as they were Real Estate investors, and grew my career with that agency for 7 years. I became a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington and was exposed to such diverse areas of real estate during my time there, including the management of rental sites and development sites. 

I always strive to continue my education, and today I am currently studying to become a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California.

My biggest challenge has been in finding a female mentor, as this field (on the executive level) is heavily male dominated.

Among my greatest strengths are my abilities to mentor and coach others on their personal lives, for personal growth, and public speaking. I am actually planning a women's conference in the upcoming spring!

My greatest accomplishment has been upturning my life around, and the career I have made for myself. Two years ago, I was standing in a parking lot with my two little children, watching my vehicle be repossessed. Through hard work, determination, some soul searching, and acknowledging where I had held myself back, I rebuilt myself and built my company.

My goal is to do more events like the women's conference I am planning, and have my voice, and my story, heard so that I can make a difference in this world. I would also like to start a foundation for other realtors through training and personal growth development.

My desire to grow is innate. I grew up with adversity and realized the importance of taking charge of my own success. My upbringing inspired me NOT to allow others take control of my future.

I most want to be remembered for helping others achieve their dreams and goals and a for being an advocate for people to find their own voice and live their life authentically.

I love traveling and spending time with my family. I spend much of my spare time attending sporting events for 7 and 11 year old children, cheering them on!
