In 1996 I was severely assaulted, and it was determined that I was 95% disabled. The doctors told me that I would never walk or talk again. Well, I did talk, and through networking with others, I was told my story was very inspiring. I started doing speaking engagements for charities and then started coaching the disadvantaged and abused children. I developed a passion for inspirational and motivational speaking, coaching, and writing.  I felt it was my calling to help others improve every area of their lives, whether that be personally, professionally, spiritually, or anything else in between!

Thirteen years ago I started Oniontalks. It's all about tearing away layers and discovering yourself.

I have taken many personal development and life coaching courses and my fair share of diplomas, but the main thing people say, and have always said, is that I know what is troubling them before they tell me. I am naturally prophetic. 

I make professional speaking a personal experience - from an inspirational and motivational point of view! 

I have had two main challenges, the first being my disabilities. When people see me, they have no idea of the extent of my disabilities and how I have overcome then. The second is that until the last 6 months my husband did not take me seriously. He thought this was just a hobby for me, but now he understands how determined I am and how much this means to me, and thankfully my speaking engagements and coaching business are thriving.

 My greatest strength is my resilience - my bounce back ability.

My children are my greatest accomplishment. Second to that, inspiring people. I was nominated for two awards in 2017, Most Influential Business Person of the Year and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Inspiring and Helping Others, both of which I am so proud and honored to be considered for.

I would like to reach more people abroad and do more, help more, inspire more, as I am inspired by others. Hopefully if I win those two awards that will bring more attention to me and help make that possible.

Helping people is what inspires me. I am inspired to inspire others not to lose hope, no matter what challenges or obstacles life throws their way.

I want to be remembered for positively impacting the lives of others and helping people become the best version of themselves. I would also very simply like to be thought of as a nice and caring person.

When I was young I was a gymnast for England and played hockey for England! I love wake boarding and spending time with my children, stepchildren and 18 grandchildren.
