DELANCE makes and sells prestige Swiss watches created exclusively for women. A symbol of femininity, the DELANCE watch is immediately recognizable by its diamond shaped case. Starting with the basic design, it is delicately tailored to reflect the unique personality of the woman who wears it. Made up of interchangeable elements, it can change with the seasons or with the whims of its owner. A DELANCE timepiece is a TALISWOMAN for women everywhere who take their own destiny in hand.

In my area of Switzerland, we are known for watchmaking and so my decision to go into this industry happened very organically. I have been in the watchmaking business for 30 years, and as I began to develop my career I came to realize that about half of the industry was made up of women, however all of the leaders and executives were men. It was in 1996 that I made the decision to open my own company, Delance Swiss Watches for Women.

When I was taking classes at Universität Bern, I was the only woman in the class. My male counterparts were always very contrary about my ideas or they would take them.

I have been a visionary since childhood. I can see a way to do things that other people can not. I sit on a few boards and I am always presenting new, unconventional ideas.

I have 3 accomplishments I would like to mention. First of all, I had to work when I was very young and got my Baccalaureate in Science (French) while raising 2 children. Secondly, I went back to study in an Engineering school at 36 yrs old where all the students were young men and German speaking. I was the only woman, French speaking and continued there for 4 years. Finally, but most importantly, my greatest accomplishment are my children.

I am continuing to seek a partner to work on our jobs as I would like to serve more as the creator, speaker and Brand Ambassador. I wrote a book" Butterfly in the Storm"(Abbi Book Nigeria, 2014) and another one of my goals is to do more writing!

I had big dreams and had to adapt to motherhood and being a wife while still retaining my dream and creativity. Bceuase of that I am inspired, and have made it my mission, to empower other women and show them that you can have it all.

I want to be remembered as a woman who fought for the rights of other women and for my efforts toward the empowerment and advancement of women everywhere.

I love traveling and visiting old cities and exhibits. I also love to get a massage, read, practice ballet, and swim - I love the beach!
