I chose this career because I am passionate about healthcare and assisting the seniors. I want to teach people how to use resources for care of their loved ones. I have been a Registered Nurse for 32 years and I specialized in Geriatric Psychiatry and Medical Services. I bought this establishment in 2003 and it made a complete turn around. I am very actively involved in the administration and the clinical duties of the facility.

I received a Master's Degree from Western Governor's University and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mental Health. I am a Licensed Nurse Practitioner.

My biggest challenge, or what I struggle with the most, is knowing where the healthcare industry has been and seeing where healthcare is headed. There will certainly be challenges in the future.

My greatest strength is inspirational speaking. I lift people's spirits and I am a sociable person.

My greatest accomplishment was becoming a nurse and continuing my education.

My professional goal is to teach around the world - teaching different cultures on how to care for their loved ones.

I am inspired by my seniors, seeing them in the facility after we care for them, adjusting their medications and their plan of care and seeing their improvement and accomplishments and knowing I have meet my goals.

I want to be remembered for the care I gave to others.

I am a member of MI Association of Assisted Living.

I enjoy exercising, running, and dancing. I also love nature and animals.
