Our mission at Pretty Strong Smart is to support women’s and girls’ empowerment. We do this through motivational talks with calls to action at schools and community groups to establish a belief system in empowerment at an early age. We tear off the labels and support girls who are pretty, strong, or smart.

I work for the federal government full time, but my passion is my women's empowerment initiative. I provide resources and skills to raise awareness and help women to improve. I want to bridge the gender gap and create equality. Now I have speaking engagements about international women's day and empowerment. Next year Pretty Strong Smart will be a non-profit and I am establishing a scholarship and plan to provide parent resources.

I have a BA in Science. I also have many professional certifications such as my leadership coach certification and life coach certification. I am also certified as a tiny habits coach.

The biggest challenge I've overcome is walking the line between the stereotypical woman and being very driven: Acting like the good girl and doing what's expected of me while still being my true authentic self.

My greatest strength is my ability to take an idea and connect the right resources and people to bring it to fruition.

My greatest accomplishment to date was believing in myself to reach my goals and realize my full potential.

My goal is be a change maker for women by speaking and providing resources to raise awareness and bridge the gender gap.

My children inspire me. My six year old daughter is the face of "why". It is as important for my nine year old son.

I most want to be remembered for being one of the leaders that made a difference.

I participate in The Junior League of Annapolis.

I am a data visualization hobbyist. I also enjoy fitness, especially running and weight lifting.
