I have many years of experience working with and training people in mental health field.
I chose this career path because
I chose this career path to educate everyone about mental illness and eliminate the stigma that can be associated with those dealing with mental illness.

The biggest challenge I've overcome
My biggest challenge is getting rid of the stigma for those who are dealing with some level of mental illness. A lot of advancement has been made in addressing solutions and proper management of this condition.
My greatest strength(s)
My greatest strengths are in my communication skills, people skills and technology.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is doing research in the area of genealogy and the history about mental health Americans of Hawaii.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goals include helping people of different cultures and working with them to understanding their backgrounds more. I also hope to get a position at a college of higher education in the near future.
What/Who has inspired me the most
What keeps me inspired is my daughter and to continue to be a mentor for her.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I most want to be remembered for my leadership role in the Wellness Recovery Action Program.
I participate in the following organizations/memberships
I participate in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (P.R.A.); this organization train leaders for the recovery model.
I support the missions of these charities/volunteer my time
I volunteer my time with the American Lung Association, in the area of smoking cessation.
I enjoy the following hobbies/interests
