I have had the Purple Adobe Lavender Farm for 14 years. I decided to go into the business because it seemed like the right thing to do. I was a gardener all my life and the lavender business, along with the tourism business, were viable industries.

Although I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Judaism, it was my life experiences that most and best prepared me for the Lavender Agritourism business I created. I went to France to learn how to grow lavender and learned everything else I needed from reading and researching.

My biggest challenge has been finding the resources to get vendors for the ingredients I need to produce products.

My greatest strength the determination I have to see through my vision and accomplishment my goals. I also have a strong desire to give and I have integrity and respect for all people.

My greatest accomplishment has been creating this farm and the marketing I have done for it.

I feel that in maybe 5-10 years down the road I may sell the business. To that end I am training others to take on more management responsibilities. 

What inspires me is giving something beautiful to people and giving back more than I take.

I want to be known as someone who gave back to my community.
