I have been in the Insurance industry for over 20 years. I am also a Pharmaceutical Tech at Rite Aid. 

I went into Insurance because I needed to make extra money. I worked for a family friend who suggested I try it and he recommended I get my license - the funny thing is he now works for me!

I went to school and got my Producers License in Health and Life for Rhode Island. I also got my Board Certification for Pharmacy Tech for Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Of course I go to Continuing education course for insurance as required. I studied at New England Institute of Technology and took courses for Administrative Medical Assistant & Management Financial.

The biggest challenge I have had to overcome is as being a woman. We are expected do more at home and balance taking care of my family, and doing house work while building a career. I have four children and finding the time to do it all was very difficult when my children were young.

My strengths are my selling abilities, my compassion for people and my empathy. I also feel I understand people and have great communications skills.

My greatest accomplishments are my 4 grown children and my 4 grandchildren. Professionally, my accomplishments include winning many trips as a result of insurance sales.

My vision is to recruit young women into my agency and teach them how to be successfully self-employed and teach them how to step up.  I am building my agency after my divorce, surgery and the loss of my parents.

I don't like to fail and I like making money and helping people and those 3 things have always been great sources of my inspiration.  The more money I make, the more I can spoil my 4 grandchildren!

I want to be remembered by all for having cared and for having worked hard. I want to be remembered by children for always being there for them and for teaching them that you if you want something you have to go for it and you  have to work hard for it!
