I chose this career path because
I have been in real estate for 33 years/ I became a Licensed Real Estate Broker after having gone through a divorce and found myself with nothing. I decided to invest in my education and real estate made sense because it allowed me the flexibility I needed and I have always loved helping people. I started working at Century 21 and I loved it! I was there for 13 years and went on to work for ReMax for 13 years. I eventually went into business and opened my own office, I currently do commercial and residential real estate and property management for commercial and residential properties.
I prepared for this career by
I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Florida, a Certified Real Estate Specialist and a Certified Real Estate Owned Specialist. I also have a designation as a Certified Luxury Home Specialist. I am looking for opportunities to further my education.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
I would say the biggest challenge for me was at the beginning of my real estate career. I was a difficult time for me in so many regards just having gone through a divorce, and it was financially difficult to put myself through real estate school. Thankfully, it was all worth it.
My greatest strength(s)
I never not give up, I am persistent and determined, and I do not like to lose!
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment was being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007 by ReMax.
My personal/professional goals
Well, at 68 years old, I was thinking about retiring but decided to keep on helping people and learning more about the industry through seminars and education. I am now doing about 50/50 Real Estate Commercial Property Management.
What/Who has inspired me the most
My own accomplishments inspire me and helping my clients through difficult transactions are what inspire me.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I want to be remembered for always going above and beyond for my clients and ensuring that they get their dream home.
