I chose this career path because
I was working in the Business Field and started as an Adjunct Faculty member at Johnson County Community College. I enjoyed the career move and pursued it as a full-time Professor.
I prepared for this career by
The preparation I took for my career was mainly academic and educational. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree, MBA and PhD in Business and Education.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
In the area of education, finding a specific success for every student can be challenging.
My greatest strength(s)
My entrepreneurial spirit, organizational skills and research abilities are among my greatest strengths.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishments to date has been raising my son. Second to that, successfully helping so many students to achieve their greatest potential.
My personal/professional goals
My professional goal is to continue assuming leadership roles at the college and to increase my external network.

My students reaching their goals inspires me everyday.

I want to be remembered for making a difference in my students' lives and inspiring them to achieve their goals and dreams.
