I chose this career path because
I have a background in education as I started as a teacher. I have always had a passion for making a difference with students and alumni.
I prepared for this career by
I continue to engage in Post Graduate Studies and I am strategic about my activities at a broader institutional level and being a part of the right committees. I also hold my Ph.D. in Leadeship in Higher Education from the University of Wollongong.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
The biggest challenge I have found is professional jealousy.
My greatest strength(s)
My strengths lie in being one of the hardest workers and being very committed to always doing a great job in everything I do.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment is my 3 children.
My personal/professional goals
My goals are to stay very career focused but still combine family and career and continuing to progress up the ladder to a VC or a DVC position. I may as look to take on a political or government role.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I have been most inspired by my parents influence. They were both very hard workers and high achievers. I was a young mom and I wanted to set an example for my girls and I had the support of my husband.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I wanted to be remembered for my current role and in context of the education field as someone who cared about the students and wanted to make a difference for them.

I participate with ASCILITE as Vice President.
I support the missions of these charities/volunteer my time
I support the Cancer Council and Top Elokes.
I enjoy the following hobbies/interests
I enjoy walking, going to th movies and going out to dinner.
