Diane Willson
I chose this career path because
I was a dairy farm wife who was charged with taking care of a family of six and responsible for the health of 250 cows. I always drew upon my Native American Heritage and applied a holistic approach to health, especially to my children who were given devastating diagnoses when they were children. I am happy I followed my beliefs both are fine, productive young men today. Eventually I stopped working on the farm and became a machinist, a job that I hated, so I wanted to embrace my N roots and work to heal people and educate them about the benefits of eating from the earth. To that end, I went to massage school, and then became trained in reflexology.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
The biggest challenge I face is living in a rural area that is deep rooted in old traditions and there are many very poor people that can not afford to pay for my services. I have lowered my prices to make my services affordable and even worked out a bit of barter system with some of the locals. Communication is difficult as many homes do not have computers or the internet.
My greatest strength(s)
People and sharing knowledge.
My greatest accomplishment to date
Personally I am so proud to have raised for successful and independent children. Professionally, it is my business which is basically built by word of mouth. Because of my reputation and the results of my treatment I was also able to grow to where I am while I pursued my Associate's Degree.

I would like to teach, attain my Bachelor's degree and advocate for awareness.
