Upon graduating from college I was looking for a field to go into. A friend of mine was in the wireless industry at the time and she sold me on it! Now I have been in it for 15 years since 2002.

I received my Master's of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Augsburg College. In an effort to continue my education and become more knowledgeable in my field, I am taking Network Cluster Certification and Business Analysis Courses.

The tech industry is heavily male dominated, so the biggest challenge for me, which I even experienced in my role as a salesperson in telecommunications, is that I have to work twice as hard as my male counterparts, to make a point and prove that I am competent and knowledgeable.

I have a passion to help people succeed and I am great at mentoring. I also self evaluate all the time to become a better Mom and better professional.

My absolute greatest accomplishments are my three children, ages five, eight, and nine.

My goals and focus are to do my projects well and eventually become a Technology Director. In and effort to meet that goal I am taking the necessary courses and stepping out of my comfort zone to prove myself to the higher ups and becoming more visible. I am also working with people higher up in the food-chain seeking mentorship where I can.

My desire to learn is innate and inspiring and I love teaching others. It is a great deal of fun teaching kids to aspire to do more at work and inspiring my own children.

I want to be remembered as a giving person who wanted others to achieve. There is room for all of us at the top!
