I began my career as a receptionist working in the Deputy's office, and decided that I was not happy there. I went on to accept a position with RF Industries and have been here ever since! At one point I was the secretary for the President/CEO of the company, however it was my boss who actually encouraged me to go into Administration, and so I did. I found it to be a great fit for me, and for the last 23 years I have been an Administrative Supervisor. I am responsible for organizing trade shows, corporate shows, and handling all of the corporate travel arrangements for the Board and employees.

Most of what I know has been learned through on-the-job training and experience. I also strive to continually learn new things on my own and challenge myself. Currently, I am pursing Microsoft Excel.

My biggest challenge is staying motivated and excited at work. Most of what I do is repetitious, and it can get mundane.

I type so fast that the computer can't keep up with me and I am very astute when it comes to grammar and creating written documents. I also have keen attention to detail and I am great at coordinating.

Personally, my greatest accomplishment has been raising my wonderful son. Professionally, I proud of all that I have learned on my own and the success I have had with official trade shows and handling complicated business trips; I once coordinated a 21 city, 21 day trip for the company.

Right now my goal is to become and expert in Excel, so that I can help other departments within the company and take on more diverse responsibilities. Once I finish my Excel program it will open more opportunities for me.

Hope inspires me. Hope for continued growth and expanded horizons.

I want to be remembered for always being honest, loyal, and kind. I want to have been known as someone who embraced challenges and loved learning.

I love reading fiction and doing yard work... there's nothing like releasing frustrations by pulling weeds!
