I have been in retail manufacturing for over 20 years. Prior to my career with Encompass Group, I worked as the  VP of Marketing for Sara Lee Branded Apparel and more recently as the VP of Marketing for Augusta Sportswear. It became obvious that healthcare was a booming industry and I felt it would be a great direction to take and thereby learn a completely new market where I could apply my skill set. I began to explore opportunities and in 2017 accepted the role of VP and General Manager of Encompass Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of reusable textiles, professional apparel, and disposable and single use medical products,

I received my MBA in Business and Global Economics from Duke University and I was trained as a Graphic Designer through the Art Institute of Tucson. Additionally, I am a Certified Meyer-Briggs Facilitator, have training in Six Sigma, and I am certified in Situational Leadership.

The biggest challenge for me has always been creating a good work-life balance.

My greatest strengths are driving innovation and working within a team collaboratively. I am known to be a person that gets things done. I noticed that there were few women in leadership positions so I approached the CEO about establishing a Women's Leadership Development organization within the corporation, and the CEO adopted the program.

My greatest accomplishment is raising my wonderful son.

I am working on focusing on today and being present both at home and at work instead of projecting. I imagine I am just shy of the "red zone" for retirement and I want to do all I can to make this company, and the women in this company, prosper.

My mom was always my biggest cheerleader, and though she passed on in 2017, she was and still is one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I am also inspired by my son and my desire to leave behind a legacy that makes him proud.

I want to be remembered as someone who always had my family's and my team's back and gave them the resources they needed to be successful and to grow.
