I am a legal assistant, a mom, a wife and the care taker of my sister.
About my company
I work for a criminal defense attorney.
I chose this career path because
I wanted to work in the legal field, so I trained as a Court Reporter and Writer. I switched gears and began to work in an Attorney's office and went back to school to become a legal assistant.
I prepared for this career by
My background in the legal field and continued education prepared me for my career in Legal Services. After graduating High School I entered the Court Reporter's Program. When I started with the law office, I began as an administrator and worked my way up to Legal Assistant.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
Working while pursuing a degree was difficult, but rewarding.
My greatest strength(s)
I am resourceful, perceptive and absorb information quickly. I am also a problem solver and very organized.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment in life is my son, who will be graduating from High School. Second to that, I am proud of where I am today and the life experiences that led me here by continual learning and networking.
My personal/professional goals
I am currently weighing my options and thinking of things like relocating to another state and finally finishing school and obtaining my degree.
What/Who has inspired me the most
It's me, I am always competing with myself to do better and more.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I want to be remembered as a person who was outgoing and bold, who was a goodhearted person and who was always reliable and dependable. I hope people will say, "she was someone who if she said it, she did it."
