I started as a stock broker but found that industry too rigid. I became a university professor and recently retired. I wanted to engage back into the business world and I am very happy in my current role as Chief Operations Officer for an Accounting firm.

I prepared for my various careers by first getting my BA in Business Management and Professional Communication. I went on to earn my MA in General Developmental Administration and my Doctoral degree from George Washington University in Human and Organizational Administration. Additionally, I am certified as a financial manager as well as a management consultant.

When I was a young girl my first position was with Sears as a coordinator for special events. My office was in a different building from all other employees. I felt that because I was young, female and single I was not treated the same as everyone else. 

My greatest strength is being flexible and adaptable. I can access what's going on and the operate accordingly.

My greatest accomplishment to date are my two sons. They are both successful and I am very proud of them.

My goals are to continue growing the business. I wrote a book in 1995 that was published and I plan on writing another on leadership. I have also written manuals on corporate training.

My children inspire and I want to leave a successful legacy.

I most want to be remembered as a contributor and for having highly ethical standards.

I enjoy traveling and going to our beach house.
