I chose this career because I wanted to make a difference in children lives, give them hope and plant seeds of the love of learning. I want children to believe in themselves that they can do anything that interests them.

I received a Bachelor degree in Education and Spanish from University of Texas and a Master's in Bilingual Education with emphasis in Reading from University of Permain Basin.

My biggest challenge is diversity of  children and meeting the needs of students.

My greatest strength is building rapport with parents to help me succeed with students.

My greatest accomplishment is being able to model Jesus in all I do for my children, students and growing in my children.

My professional goal is to be a motivational speaker.

I am inspired when I see the lights go on in my children and students lives, the understanding and the belief.

I want to be remembered for inspiring children to reach their goals and dreams.

I am a member of Midland Texas Classroom Teacher Association, AMME Association of Multilingual Multicultural Educators, AMME, San Antonio Texas for Imagine Learning. Texas Association of Bilingual Educators TCTA and the International Dyslexia Association.

I received the International Women's Association Letter of Recognition 2013, Midland TCTA 2011-2012, Innovator of the Year State of Texas 2012-2013, Who's Who Award 2011-2012 and VIP Elementary Teacher of the Year 2012-2013.

I volunteer in my community at local nursing homes.

I love nature, hiking and spending time with my children.
